Chef Amber Pollock

The Farm is the restaurant.

Seasonal dining experiences rooted in New England agriculture.

About Chef Amber

Chef Amber Pollock is a Johnson & Wales-trained chef and co-owner of Sunfox Farm in New Hampshire, where agriculture and cooking intersect at the center of her work.

After cooking in kitchens ranging from neighborhood bars to luxury resorts and fine-dining establishments, Amber returned to the landscape that increasingly defines her cooking: New England agriculture.

In 2022, she served the first Sunflower Dinner at Sunfox Farm. What began as a single dinner among the flowers has developed into an annual series of multi-course tasting menus and, more recently, a traveling farm-dinner program.

Using a mobile kitchen, Amber now brings the restaurant to the farm—working with farmers and producers to create menus inspired by the ingredients, season and character of each place.

Her cooking explores a simple idea:

what happens when the distance between farmer, chef, and table becomes almost nothing?

FAQs

What should I wear?

There is no dress code for our dinners—come as you are! Many of our guests take this opportunity to dress up for an evening, but there is no dress code requirement. Shoes & shirts required (that may be the only requirement!).

I have dietary restrictions, can you accommodate them?

At this time, we are able to make adjustments to most of our menus to accommodate vegetarian or pescatarian diets. We are also able to accommodate most food allergies. Depending on the menu, we are likely unable to accommodate celiac or vegan diets.

Can I bring my kids? What about my pets?

Our farm-to-table meals are catered towards adults, so they may not be suited for younger children. We are not able to adjust the menu for children. Because seating is limited at our dinners, we are not able to discount seats for children. Additionally, pets are not allowed at our dinners—this is for the safety of all of our guests. Service animals are allowed.

How many dinners are there each year? Can I book a private dinner?

At this time, we have a mother’s day brunch, 7 sunflower dinners, and 6 autumnal farm-to-table meals. There may be additional pop-up dates, so get on the newsletter to be the first to hear!

If you’re interested in a private dinner or catered event, please contact Chef Amber to discuss possibilities at amber@sunfoxfarm.org.

Tickets are sold out! What do I do?

Our dinners are becoming more and more popular—so its not uncommon for them to sell out! If you missed your opportunity to snag tickets, you can email Chef Amber to get your name on the waitlist at amber@sunfoxfarm.org.
